Traders and business finance

Since the financial crisis, the media talk more and more traders, stockbrokers, financial analysts and account managers. Banks hire operators for trading rooms (front office) or administrative staff (back office). In general, these areas of finance are reserved for graduates from bac + 5. Banks are demanding for their recruitment, trades of traders are essentially reserved for graduates of business schools. Candidates must be proficient in English, mathematics, learn about the different financial and economic mechanisms.

Careers in finance are listed in two categories, the financial markets and corporate finance.

Market finance

Market operators and traders in relation to customers working in the front office, operations control is provided by the middle office, back office is responsible for administrative functions.

The trader buys and sells financial products offering in collaboration with the sales traders (sellers).

The analyst examines the national and international factors to anticipate and manage risk in order to ensure profitability.

The portfolio manager is responsible for distributing the securities of its clients in a portfolio based on the recommendations of the Financial Analyst.

Corporate finance

Companies rely on banks or consulting firms to find financing solutions. The vacancies are in corporate finance for credit analysts and project financing, to advise on mergers and acquisitions.

The charge d'affaires analyzes the financial condition of its customers to offer products and services of the bank.

The asset manager is responsible for the management of investments on the stock markets.
