The 7 Secrets of a highly effective Cover Letter

No respect a letter "humble". Job seekers spend so much time and energy on their CV that nothing remains for the poor neglected letters of application.

Serious, serious mistake!

This is the well-written letter, not the CV, which alone can open the doors to more interviews. The letter is your unique chance to really get to "sell" to an employer, using accepted marketing strategies, which are rarely found in a typical letter.

Conversely, you can not do much with a traditional CV or a summary. I think a cover letter carefully constructed is more important to the success of your job search any other written document, including the CV.

As a professional direct marketing for over 20 years, I offer you my 7 secrets for a highly effective letter:

1. Send your application letter to a specific person. Do your best to find out "Who" you should address your letter. "Mr. A responsible" is sluggish.

2. Start with a phrase that captures the attention to really grab the reader. This will almost guarantee your cover letter and your CV to be viewed for a loan.

3. REMEMBER less is better. The best cover letters have plenty of white space. The letters clear, focused, short and cool can get more job interviews. Point.

4. FOCUS on what you can offer the employer. What benefit can you bring to the company specifically? Do a little research and explain it simply and clearly in your letter.

5. CHOOSE WORDS that show your enthusiasm and passion for the job ... (Big secret!). Then bring that passion with you during the interview.

6. Requires action you want from the employer: "I would really appreciate a lot the opportunity of a personal interview this week. "(You never know before you ASK.)

7. End your letter with something enthusiastic like "I look forward to the interview as soon as you can see me. Thank you very much for this opportunity. "Sincerely, Jeanne Cherchemploi. (Have you noticed how it takes Jeanne get an interview? Is intelligent, clever, and it works like a charm).

Think of your cover letter as a sales letter. The only goal is to get more job interviews. It's the only thing that matters. By using these marketing strategies recognized, I just do the outline, you're sure to get more quality job interviews than competition.

You must find a way to "get your foot in the door of the business" for a chance of landing the job. With the letter correctly, you can open the doors of opportunity. And remember: more talks translates into (drum roll if you please) ... more job offers.

Finally, the most important advice I can give you is: Keep track of any track, contact and communication jobs. Following are the "golden key" to be hired in the position of your dreams. Use the follow-up cover letters, thank-you letters and even phone calls monitoring. Track can literally double your chances of success.
