Tips for finding a good tenant

You have a home, you want to rent, you can find lots of advice for finding a good tenant.

If you use a real estate agent to manage the rental of your property that it will take care of finding tenants, managing visits and find and write the lease documents, it may be that the agent is seeking fees for the drafting of these documents.

A good tenant has a number of features.

Its main feature is its financial situation. Make sure the resources of your tenant with his latest payslip or tax return.

Do not rely only on income of the person, there are so many deadbeat among those with modest incomes than among wealthier people.

Ask the tenant on his status, ambitions, projects, etc.. to properly identify his personality, do not make him still being interrogated.

Ask for a deposit in order to protect yourself against possible damage due to the tenant or the unpaid rent.

Prefer a stable tenant, or a family that will tend to stay longer a student, for example.

In most cases, the real estate agent who will succeed the most complex and this work will make your life easier.
