Following my conversation with the new head of French broker Oanda, I decided to share with you in this article the reasons why you should not use for your trading broker that offers a bonus. This is apparently presented as a gift for new customers but what has he really see this more loan:
There are two types of bonuses offered:
-Those who are really just virtual money intended to make you trading with stronger volume you would not use otherwise. As a concrete example to illustrate this: Imagine that a customer with a € 100 deposit bonus also offered € 100, the client will then take positions on the basis of € 200 although its deposit or real money is only 100 €, which implies a risk 2 times higher. This is example can be a bit extreme but it has the merit of showing the futility of the bonus for the trader.
"The other type of bonus offered confirms bonuses but you have in this case read the terms and conditions as it is likely that you hit your bonus, you have to do significant volume of transactions. This can take too many positions or too much leverage. You will receive good bonus but you will take more risk and have reported to the broker more money than what the bonus will cost him. Again, this has no interest in trading the trader wishing to "clean".
We hope that this article will be useful to learn and progress.
