Buying real estate in Morocco: the trend is stagnant market

Should we buy now or wait for lower prices?

With a housing crisis which had affected the odds of buying real estate in Morocco, was expected to lower prices in the premium segment. Because of a scarcity of buyers who were beginning to be felt in late 2008.

There's a few years there and even more recently, at the beginning of 2008 buyers would never have thought to ask this question. Instead a buyer was willing to pay a substantial sum "under the table" to a trader provided that it is a villa in the palm of charm Riad or near a golf course in Marrakech. The enthusiasm of foreigners and their admiration for these fascinating homes that are the Riad had boosted sales of Riads Morocco. In fact everyone wanted to have a second home in Morocco, especially in southern cities like Marrakech. And the sale of Riad in Morocco was done without much effort since the demand was very strong, although the offer is still important it was sold. But it is the cause of the turnaround? How are buyers they become rare in the real estate market in Morocco?

Well it is always the global economic crisis that has undermined the global economy affected all sectors and Morocco as well as customer favorites such as Spain and France among others have not departed from this rule. While opinions are divided and that some developers do not want to admit it is clear that prices have decreased especially in the high standard because buyers were becoming increasingly rare. The loss in purchasing power led to a scarcity of foreign demand. Between the end of 2008 and much of the year 2009, it became increasingly difficult to find buyers said a real estate agent.

And the decline in prices was real. Indeed it was possible to lower prices by 10% over the displayed price. Some programs to find a buyer were brought for sale with 20 or even 30% less. In Marrakesh, even in the modern district of GuĂ©liz it was possible to have a plot of 20,000 m² at the Dirhams 17,000 Dirhams negotiating. The gap between the list price and actual selling price has continued to widen the general damns promoters. So forecasts that predicted a fall in prices and growing the customer to see the deal were right. However, the price will they continue to fall in 2010? Is it always wise to expect a lower price for a property purchase in Morocco?

Well according to the predictions of some professionals in the field things started to rebound in the housing market. While the dynamics of sales known two years ago is not there yet. But we begin to notice a stagnation of prices. So no think it is useless to wait to buy a property in Morocco. Anyway with regard to a property purchase in Morocco to help you make a real estate agency of reference.
